Full Time College Student, my first time shopping for health insurance?
If your Mother and or siblings are going to have to be insured you could be covered on a policy that your Mom can get and you could contribute to the cost at least until you get married or turn 23 as long as you stay in school. If your income is low enough you might qualify for your state low income insurance and your college probably has a plan that covers major medical for a small fee and you may already be paying for it as part of your fees so check that out. Planned parenthood and University health services usually have low cost birth control and pap smears etc based on ability to pay. You may end up with a cobbled together sort of coverage but there is probably something out there that is cheaper than a straight health care plan from an insurance agent.
