Pulling up on the wrong side of the road, am i in trouble?

I ume you are in the UK, but it really depends where exactly you are in the UK. I live in London and people do this all the time. If you look at parked cars you will see that about half of them are facing the 'wrong' way. But I know out in the countryside things are different, which does kind of make sense on unlit roads as the cars rear reflectors are used for guidance.
