Is this descriptive writing any good?

It's lovely :) i adore descriptive writing. It's a bit too desriptive though. I would take aerodynamic out of the second sentence and where it says "It flew so smoothly and glided ever so gently", i would pick one or the other. I like glided ever so gently. Same with "sharp pointy talons". I would just go back though and take some of the extra stuff out as it seems a bit wordy at times. other than that, i like it :)
