Callous Disregard - JABS Loonies?

Adverse reactions to immunizations are real and do happen. I think all parents have tinge of worry when they have to have a child immunized. However, a child that has a bad reaction to an immunization would probably have had a very bad reaction to the actual disease, and if no one was immunized, the chances of them contracting that disease would be very high. One only has to look at an old cemetery and see all the graves of very young children to realize that communicable diseases take lives. In modern industrialized nations we expect that all our children will survive, barring some accident. It wasn't like that years ago. They used to have a saying, "Don't count your children before the measles." In our society today the chances of diseases spreading rampantly is often higher than it was in the past, due to population growth and speed of travel. To me, not vaccinating just doesn't make sense. It puts too many people, including your own children, at risk.
